Navigating Change

Isn't there a saying, "Change is the only constant"? Sometimes life can feel like the intersection of the personal growth section at your local book seller and a quantum physics lecture you wandered into. And it can seem like no amount of planning can gird your proverbial loins to be prepared for the next thing, not that I am against planning. I do planning as part of how I make a living, but the more life I live, I find that attitude and resilience are as or even more important than preparedness. You don't have to stray too far from the podcast sphere or news cycle to experience the rapid pace of change. Since I love science, I will use the metaphor of equilibrium. Nature has an amazing way to respond to change and to adapt. We humans, however, often like to force our solutions. You've probably done it too. So the question is, how do we adapt and respond to change? The only advice or suggestion I will offer here, if you find yourself, like I do, in a time of change - REMAIN CURIOUS. Curiosity is a power verb if there ever was one. Curiosity will lead you to observe more keenly, ask more questions, and listen to your intuition. And slow down!
